The Creative Practice Circle consists of mid-career researcher practitioners; early career researcher practitioners and higher degree students who use creative practice at various points in their research process – creative practice as research; creative practice as an object of study; creative practice as data collection; creative practice derived from research outcomes. Circle members work with visual art materials, natural objects, poetry, creative prose, crochet, collage, textiles, radio and sound, found and made images.
All of us have a research association with Charles Sturt University. We meet mainly online, as we live in different places across regional New South Wales and Victoria, Australia.
Current members of the group include Dr Jennifer Munday, Dr Barbel Ulrich, Louisa Waters, Michelle O’Connor, Tracy Sorensen and Cassily Charles.
